I was installing my cooler when suddenly i realized the some of the thermal paste has spilled on my Steelseries QCK mousepad, i tried cleaning the mousepad with hot water and soap but it didn't work. Can anyoone help me?

Solution
Since it's a MOUSE PAD I don't think you necessarily need a lint-free cloth. You may even need a scrubber of some kind.

Again, while I think alcohol likely will work fine make sure to TEST in a corner of the pad.

*You really should have some Isopropyl Alcohol anyway as part of a first aid kit so it's a good idea to get. I may be incorrect but I think 70% solution is good both for that AND for using on the computer.

god, can't find any alcohol... will acetone with lint-free cloth work? or do i pour the acetone directly into the mousepad and clean it? i used acetone to clean my CPU and it worked out quite well

WARNING:
I recommend contacting the manufacturer as I'm unsure if that would damage the mouse pad itself.

It will probably work fine. At the very minimum, try rubbing the solvent in a CORNER of the mouse pad and see if that appears to damage anything.
