I have a lenov B575 which is running slow. I bought a Toshiba 128 GB SSD to make it faster. I cloned the hdd with Apricorn software. Through the USB data transfer cable I could see files on the SSD. When I replaced the hdd with the clone SSD, it was not recognized. I went into BIOS, f2, and could not see it. I reinstalled the hdd and was able to see the SSD through the cable again. So the hardware seems to be working..? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rick

if you are able to boot with your old HD................. start/right click computer/manage/disk management........... see if the SSD is there. if it is/format............. then go to my computer just to verify or reboot and verify............ then you should be able to do your transfer and your SSD should work.................

ssd/ahci.............. bios..??
