Hi guys,

I just joined the forum, so excuse me for not adding anything to my profile.
I've had the error for 2 days now, searched all the forums but couldn't find a proper answer.

What happened:
After playing some Games, CS:GO, i went outside with a few friends.
When I came back home, I waked up my computer, because I let it on sleepmode.
But for some reason, it was stuck on the very nice wallpaper that you normally "swipe" up (" because I'm using a mouse lol) to login. The spinning wheel next to the cursor appeared. After like 5 minutes the computer shut down. I turned it back on after a short waiting time. But then the blue screen appeared with following error message:
CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

After like 20 seconds the computer shut down again, again showed the blue screen with the error message:
BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO

So...
It said I could restore it to an earlier point, which is no problem for me, since I only have Steam and a few other Games/Programms. But I'm not able to perform this, because after I clicked continue, I only get to see the Windows 8 logo. And yes, It doesn't go away after over an hour.

I would really appreciate it, if someone could help me.
I think the easiest way is to just restore the system, I have someone that could do that for me on Saturday.

I'm worried about my 2700£ Computer :/ :(

try system restoring from the installation DVD
boot from win8 dvd
when you reach the window with "install now" button you should see "repair computer" button
it will take you to the available troubleshooting options...system restore is one of them

you may try to boot in safe mode, press F8 before the windows boot logo appears and choose "start in safe mode" "start in safe mode with networking" if you need internet access
