Hello!
My computer has been acting really odd lately. I haven't installed many things recently, other than Steam games (which I trust) and a few other things that I have since uninstalled. I get blue screens of death (from my gfx card, atikmpag.sys), computer freezes (have to restart with power button), mouse freezes every once in a while and the default startup programs, as well USB devices connected to my computer, take an extra minute after bootup to start, and when they do start it's all instant, like it should be.
I have an SSD, so normally everything loads right away on startup when there isn't a problem.
What I've tried: Downgrading BIOS
Made sure graphics card drivers are up to date, which they are
Restarted computer with all USB devices unplugged, problem still occurs
Launched in safe mode, I believe the problem doesn't occur in safe mode
Scanned for virus multiple times on both drives with full and quick scans using Malwarebytes and avast
Computer stats:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: i7-3840QM
RAM: 12GB
Drives: 512GB SSD, 750GB HDD @ 7200RPM
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7970M
Another thing - I installed this SSD on my computer (yes, with AHCI) a few months back and this is probably one of the first times I've had a problem.
Ideas? Please help! Thanks in advance, it's much appreciated.

Great so it isnt a memory trouble, that a great relief indeed. Now why dont you download software like MSI AFTERBURNER and check your GPU temperatures..
Also if from the time you use the ssd you have trouble why dont you check the drive for problems ?
Use a software like seagate seatools.. you dont need that brand for it to work it works with all brands and check it for problems.

Also do you have the copy of windows installed on the hdd or the ssd?On the SSD.
Ok id recomend a format of the ssd and reinstalling windows on it if possible.. if that doesnt work its almost definetely a hardware problem, check the drive for errors first though with seagate's program

GPU stays around 50°C on simple internet browsing use. Also, what specific tests should I do with seagate's program? There's a few different ones.
Thanks for your help so far.

Id say a fix all option should be ok and safe to try and check for all errors the drive may have
