I am currently thinking about picking up a Z97 board.
One of the features I want is good onboard audio. Both for games and to listen to music.
I use 90% headphones. I have some mad dogs, fidelio X1, Sony MDR-1r...
I was wondering if there are any gaming motherboards from Asus, MSI, Gigabyte or Asrock that have good onboard audio.
I see on the MSI website, that the Gaming 9 is supposed to have an upgraded audio circuit.
Would that be enough to render the need for something like a Xonar STX useless?
