Sharp Aquos TV BD-Player input

I have a Sharp Aquos TV 55" about a month old. Got it all hooked up, all devices working, even programmed the Harmony Smart Remote to work everything. Did great for about 2wks. Now, anytime we choose the activity that includes us using our DVD player which is using HDMI-2 & we switch to another activity that doesn't require the use of the DVD player, an input mode appears that is called BD-Player. It appears right under HDMI-3 & will not go past this to change to HDMI-1 unless we manually change it on the side of the TV. Only have this problem when we've used the DVD player & we're trying to switch to an activity other than the DVD player. I can't find anything on Google, You Tube or in the manual that even talks about this at all. HELP!!!

Check the menus on the DVD and TV and try to find the CEC function which provides for control of the TV by the DVD. Sharp calls it Aquos Link. Turn it off. If the DVD and TV are not the same brand then this function may not work properly and that may be the problem. More info here:
