Hello everyone I just wanted to come on to see what the possibilities of turning my dell dimension 4550 into a decent pc for gaming. I realize this is an old system which was not even the greatest back in its time but I want to see if there is still any possibility of changing mine into a gaming pc. I'm not very good on money at the moment, but I do not plan on using the mobo or many of the parts just the case maybe and any other parts which can also be used which I don't think is very much. But really I want to know what I could put into the case in in terms of mobo, GPU,CPU, cooling fan and hard drive, that could give this pc some life again and be used for gaming. If any of you know the MMORPG which is coming out in 2015 called skyforge I would like to be able to play that game on medium settings if possible and other games that I may come across on some medium settings. I know this is not the greatest system even though I'm only using the case but If you can give any help I very much appreciate it. I like the size of the case so I'm not so worried about the size of modern graphics cards. I am only worried about really ports for the mobo and any other compatibility issues.

Those cases are useless. They have a proprietary motherboard tray. All the front panel connectors are proprietary. Those cases have proprietary cpu cooling. There is only one case fan. The case would be about the cheapest part of any build. Why would you keep that case then?
