ASUS X99 Rampage V vs ASUS X99 WS

Which do you think is the better board. I was looking at the Rampage and noticed it drops PCI after the 3rd GPU. The WS board seems to offer so much more for only $20 more. Which do you think would be best for overclocking? I'm moving up from my 2500K and wanted some opinions.

Both look to be great mobos, additional gains in SLI after 2 cards are slight, I'd look for 2 heavy duty cards

I should have mentioned I'm currently running 2 R9 290x CF with a plan for a third. This seems to be a bit much for the 2500K sometimes.

have you OCed the 2500K? I've got one (actually had one

sold it a couple weeks back) running at 4.8 and I put my 780s with it and no real problems, no bottle necks, but a third one would prob be stuck at 8x -16x-8x (think that's what the Extreme ran 3 at anyway

Yes I'm running 5.0 currently on the 2500K.

Sweet huh? But yes, if wanting to go to a third card the x99 or X79 would be the way to go

I think I'd look at the Rampage or the Deluxe (both X99)
