I just got the GTX 770 and I install it. I first thought that my CX500 might be able to power it after my research but it didn't. Nothing happen to the 770 and I got a black screen but the fans are still working. So I put my old gpu back and my PC start acting up. It seems like my psu isn't giving enough power like it use to and my LED light isn't turning on. Right now, I'm afraid that I may have fried the GTX 770 and I'm not sure if I should return the 770 or not?? I feel so stupid that I didn't buy the 700 watt power supply when I was at Bestbuy.

If your sure the issue arrived when you installed the gtx 770, first thing, take the thing out again.
re-seat, look for any obvious damage or dust etc.
I thought I read that the 770 asked for 600watts? cant remember.
Also depends if your system is overclocked and what else you have drawing power.
But the CX Ive heard are a bit on the low budget side?
Maybe a RM would be better? for maybe £30 more?
Corsair RM750 perhaps?
Is the CX under waranty?
Play the game you might win ;)

Posting your complete system specs IS very helpful for these type of problems.
