My acer aspire Laptop running windows 8.1 wont connect to my thomson tg585 v8 it connects but it doesnt actually let you access the internet it often says identifing or limited and it comes up saying there is a problem between wireless adapter and thomson. The laptop can connect to other wifi networks fine and the thomson has other wifi devices on it working fine

We have HP Pavillion and we have the same problem connecting to our netgear router at home (comcast). It happen all of a sudden yesterday and no problem connection to any other wifi outside. We finally found a solution after two days of trying everything and scratching our heads - we change our NETGEAR router to channel "6" and it works! Good luck!!
