R9 270X around 15-20% faster than R7 265. Since both of the card use the same chip, from the best efficiency standpoint (performance vs power consumption), always buy the full implementation of the chip (1280 GCN Core).

r9 270x got 68.9 fps on high quality in 1080p on BF4, while 265 for 57.9 fps
