I just bought a gtx 780 sc acx 3gb from evga a little over a month ago and now that the new 980 is soon going to be coming out. i was wondering if it would be worth it to sell my gtx 780 and buy a 980 or is it not even worth going through all the trouble. i like my card a lot but i just might think that gaming in 1080p at 60fps will be a bit better if i buy that card when it comes out.

More about : sell gtx 780 880 980

If I was you or placed in your shoes:

Keep the Nvidia GTX 780 as it is a powerful card and will maxed out all games at above 50-60+FPS (the monitor is a non 4K and is played at 1080p). On conclusion stay with the GTX 780, it will be a waste selling the card in my opinion. Then maybe wait and save up some money and buy the latest graphics card when the GTX 780 where out.

unless you're planning on gaming in 4k... what's the point?

that 780 will destroy pretty much anything in 1440p and lower...

Why would you sell the GTX 780 anyways? It is a solid card.
