I already have an optiplex 7010 from Dell and I wish to buy APU A10-7700k. Can I add it to the existing configuration? I mean can I just swap it with the existing processor?
nope. your system uses an intel processor. AMD APUs wont work in it. you can't even replace the motherboard in the 7010 to accommodate the APU because the I/O shield is permanently soldered onto the 7010's case.

So what will be the cheapest solution in order to just make it work as I am using it research purpose.
there is no cheap solution. you would need a new motherboard AND a new case that will fit said motherboard. the other components you will be able to reuse, unless you decide to stick a beefy dedicated GPU in there in which you will also need a new power supply.

So can you recommend any motherboard which is suitable with the the A10-7700k.
