I'm asking this, because I want to use my laptop's WiFi connection. I have an alternative method - use my phone's mobile data and turn it into WiFi access point, but I don't wanna lose my extra megabytes..
Well.. Simply said.. You cannot. You need a wifi card installed in your desktop to make a hotspot. You can opt for a USB one which will cost you around 20 bucks. With this, you can make a hotspot on your desktop and use internet on both your mobile and Laptop.
Some phones can be tethered to a desktop and run the wifi off of the desktop's internet connection, if I recall correctly. No matter what, though, you're going to need some sort of device that can function as a wireless access point.

I can use my Galaxy Ace 2 for the tethering but I don't know? Maybe using my USB Cable will do the job, since I use my fastest NET on my LAN cable which is connected to my PC.
