Hello,

My PC is in a somewhat dusty environment (Pet etc.) I own a Air Compressor to blow dust out of the case and I do it once in a while. However if I blow the dust filters some of the dust gets out whereas some is trapped in it (due to the nature of the filter I guess), hence the filter remains a bit dusty (actually looks whiter/greyer than its natural colour). How can I clean the dust filters in a better way without damaging them? Could you please recommend or show how to? I could not come across a cleaning topic for HAF X 942 case dust filters or any case dust filters thoroughly for that matter.

Thank you!

I have a HAF X and I just take the filters out every once in a while and use a vacuum cleaner.
If they're still dusty after that, they're washable so I just use a wet towel or something similar to clean them off. Let them dry, put them back in and there you go.

I know for sure that they are washable, in that you can use a wet cloth etc to clean them. Doesn't damage them at all, just don't be too rough with them. It's mentioned in lots of reviews and I've never had problems cleaning them like that.

I doubt they'd survive a laundry machine though, so they're not that washable ;)
