Hi I have just installed the gtx 780ti and it is causing a hard freeze in assassins creed 4 and metro last light, usually within a few minutes. Any ideas what may be causing this issue. Drivers are up to date, no overclocking. I have a screenshot/photo after a crash with a hardware monitor program running alongside the game. Temps are fine, not so sure with the power. Any ideas?

Does it happen in any other games?

Also happens in Hawken, I haven't tried other games as of yet. I have also tried turning some graphics settings down, still occurs.

Whats your full specs? Specifically what PSU?

Has it ever worked correctly? Or is this a new problem?

Specs are
Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4GHz
WideTECH PS-750TM 750Watt PSU
16GB RAM
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H motherboard

This is a new card, it has not worked properly yet. I want to make sure I've covered all bases I can before I lodge for warranty, I have a fear they will test it and tell me it is fine. I was previously running an AMD R9 200 series.

Never heard of "widetech" psus, so cant really say if its good or not, but if you can try another PSU, or try the graphics card in another computer before we know its faulty.

I think your psu is the culprit.never heard of it but general rule since all the components draw power from it never cheapen out on tge psu. Suggest u try a well branded psu and see tge results. If its the gpu and u still ynder warranty rma it or well as they say time to get a new gpu.

Ok thanks. I think PSU is the most likely culprit as well. I've got a Corsair RM-750 on it's way in the next day or 2 so I'll try that out and keep you posted.

A bit late with the answer but the PSU was the problem, replaced that with a nice Corsair RM750 and haven't had a problem since. Thanks for the help caj and RobCrezz
