Corsair Carbide 200R and H105 compatibility

I know that the H100i will fit into the 200R but I was wondering if the H105 would as well?

The H105 is newer and doesn't have the Link software. That's why I'd rather have it.

I can't confirm or deny that it will work. Usually what I do is check pcpartpicker for a build with the setup. I first searched for your case then checked to see if anyone used a H105 and the answer was No. That leads to believe there is a compatibility issue or that the 200R isn't "new" enough for people to buy it recently and install the new H105. My 2cents.

Hate to say it. If you want the H105 then I'd buy a new case. The 200R looks good but not great for cooling.

I think I've just found the answer. It looks like it will fit at the front of the case with the two drive cages removed.

That will work. However the PC might be a bit constraint with not enough space for cooling. But this is your choice.

I don't like the idea of putting it on the front cuz the 200R is designed to dampen sound from the front intake which in turns weakens the cooling potential. Also, that person did a heavy mod of the case. It is much easier just to get a better case to fit it. I would advise to get a new case if you must have the H105.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up.

I already have a H75. I was going to get the H105 for the CPU and move the H75 to the GPU with the Corsair GPU bracket that should be coming out sometime.
