Hey everyone,

My case has a top mounted PSU and im thinking of buying a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo for my CPU. If the fan is on the same side of the heat sink as the ram, would the power supply be starved of air? Because the CPU cooler would be pushing air straight onto the rear exhaust fan. Also the Evo will cover about 2cm of the 120mm fan in the power supply.

Will getting this cooler cause my power supply to run hotter? or should i keep stock CPU cooler? Any other disadvantages of getting the Evo? What would you guys do?

Thanks :)

Solution
The EVO will not really bother the PSU since most of the PSU's fan will still be either open or just sucking air through the heatsink. It should have little to no effect on the PSU's temperature... it may even lower it slightly with the EVO bringing more cooler air from the front of the motherboard to help displace heat from mid-board.
