Ok first off the problem with my audio i seem to think is my on board sound. I have tried 3 different speakers and all have the same problem. Just out of the blue the audio cuts down super low i look at my speakers power light and it is off yet a small amount of sound is coming from the speakers still. I originally thought it may have been my speakers so i have switched them out 3 times now.

So now i'm looking to just get the absolutely cheapest replacement i can get in a pci sound card in hopes that this will fix the problem permanently. My current rig:

I'm just looking for a sound card to give decent audio for watching videos and gaming but not expensive. And i'd like to go as cheap as possible. So any suggestions?

I would suggest an external soundcard:

it just plugs into your USB and bypasses your onboard sound. Being externally located, it does not suffer from any electronic noise from inside the case the way build in sound and even internal sound cards do.

I'm looking for some thing a lot cheaper then $35 to be honest. All i need is a basic type that gives decent sound not looking for hd sound or such unless i can get it cheap or some one can tell me what is causing my problem and another way to fix it? I generally depend on the on board audio and never have encountered this problem before.

Funny thing is i had just ordered that same exact card lol i am hoping this will eliminate the problem i also had ordered a brand new set of speakers as well http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... so that both are new. When i get the sound card i'll disable and uninstall my old drivers and try this combination in hopes that it will fix this problem. Its annoying to be watching some thing and then out of the blue the speakers power off with no rhyme or reason behind it.
