I have a $2000 budget, and my last thread from a few months ago didn't go too close to that budget. Just to be safe, I have revamped my setup.

Will this be able to get an easy 60 FPS on Battlefield 4 at high graphics in 1920x1080? it seems pretty promising. Any advice on if or how I should improve this build?

Thanks everyone.

Oh easy. Maybe the change I would make spending that amount is going with the new X99 platform. But that's it.

I would definitely add a SSD

I would change to an i7 4790k and a z97 board. You have no use for that workstation CPU.

Get a 650-750w PSU for sure from Antec, XFX, seasonic.

I would get an air cooler. Cheaper and will perform better with less noise.

Windows 8.1 will be the better choice over 7.

With that cpu and gpu you should get a bigger psu. At least 650w especially if you are going to oc.

My updated build is as follows:

There is one thing I need to ask. Should I get W8.1 Pro, or just the standard version?

You should get some faster ram. There is some ddr3 2133 gskill on sale for $76.50. I see no reason for pro.
