CPU temperature is above 50 C at idle

I have a stock cooler of intel and i use intel pentium dual core E2200 @ ~2.2GHz, recently two of my push pins broke and i replaced one which reduced to CPU temp by ~10 C . ATM it is at 51-56 at idle and 88 MAX while running Prime75. I don't have some thermal paste and i doubt that could be a problem (atm there is some in the CPU, a small layer) and i want to know wheter fixing the last broken push-pin would reduce the CPU temp.

Solution
If you're meaning the push pin as in the posts that hold the stock cooler to the mobo then yes you need to fix it. If the cooler is not seated properly that will hinder cooling greatly. Make sure there is enough thermal paste as well, but not too much.

If possible get a better cooler than the stock one. You'll get even lower temps.

Most likely, yes, but you should definitely replace the thermal paste too. Without all the pins in place, the pressure between the heatsink and the CPU will be lesser and uneven, resulting in an increase in temperatures (as air is a good thermal insulator).

Reusing the old thermal paste will probably give you a similar issue, with air bubbles forming on the surface of the contact area.

Hence, repairing the last pin should lower your temperatures, and replacing your old thermal paste should bring them back to normal (but you are right, fixing the last pin should be your priority as it will probably make a bigger difference).
