Bios write protect removal

hello

How can i remove the Bios write protect feature from on a Sapphire pure platinum h61 motherboard? I need to flash the Bios, and the Bios write protect feature does not exist in the Bios menu. I know i probably have to do some jumper configuration, but i don't know which pins to jump.

Did you download and read the instructions on how to flash the BIOS from the Sapphire website? There is nothing mentioned about needing to remove write protection in the instruction sheet to flash a new BIOS version on this board.

true, but when i try to save the flash file using AFUDOS, it says write protected.

The program saves the old bios back to the media you are using to initiate the flash from. Is it write protected?

The program doesn't write the old flash, it initiates the process and display write protected. Hence, i cannot make a backup of the old flash to the flash disk. the media i'm using is not write protected. It is the ROM that is locked.
