Will be starting my build in the next week or so. Any advice on parts or in general?

Hey guys, putting together a new rig soon. My budget is around $1300 but I would prefer to keep it around $1100. The desktop will be used for gaming, school work, and some other hobbies (graphic design, CS6). I've got parts picked out but would really appreciate it if someone can look it over and maybe recommend some alternatives.

The wireless network adapter is probably a must. I already have a monitor and a mouse so I do not need those. I haven't included a CD/DVD drive because I was hoping to use just an external DVD reader or installing Win8 with USB. Not sure exactly how this OEM thing works though. Also, my monitor does not have speakers, and I don't think it has a mic. Would it be good to get a speaker(s) with a mic? If so, are there any you guys would recommend? Preferably something on the cheap side since I've got a pair of gaming ear buds. I'm looking to save some money mainly in the mobo department, and possibly with a smaller SSD as well.

Again thanks a lot for the help!

Solution
If you are CFing SOON, get 750w. Most people claim to plan on it and never get to it.

Regardless, change the PSU to the brands I listed.

You do not need a full tower for CF at all. I would STILL recommend the normal Phantom 410.
Drop the paste. The cooler comes with good paste.

Change the PSU to a quality unit. antec, XFX, Seasonic. 650w is plenty.

120gb is the smallest to go for SSD. Don't go smaller.

Get a cheap set of 2.1 speakers. You will want them. If you need a mic, get a webcam or just buy a gaming headset.

I would get a normal mid-tower case. This build is not nearly large enough to warrant a full-tower.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm a bit worried that 650 may not be sufficient? Since I'll be looking into OC'ing and possibly CrossFire in the future. This is also the reason I decided to go with a full tower.
