try updateing your drivers or try turn one card off to see how it runs with one card if not try reinstalling the game again like 180fps that's more that what the human eye can see but I see were your coming from your pc is a beast and it should be hiting the max fps for that game engine

when your playing the game does it ever go pass 180fps even by 1fps or 2fps if it doesn't it may be that the game engine can only go to 180fps like cod 4 in mp only hits 91 max out that's with a 7950 3gb and a amd fx 6100 and 16gb ram so it may be the game engine

Do you have like eagle eyes or how could you consider 150fps low? Or, without wanting to offend, are you a troll?

i have seen it go pass 300 when loading the server. I was looking at GPu usage, and my top card was above 60-75%, but my botoom gpu was only at 29-36%. Does this sound weird?

basically cs go isn;t utilising your dual gpu's to their full potential, not all games support dual gpu's well, and cs go may be one of them, i'd suggest you disable one 80ti for now, and see if there are any fps increases

well i turned off SLI, and my top gpu was hitting 45-60%. my fps was still same as with SLI on. 150-180 on average. It does go to 140 and 130 and a little more than 180 at times. I turned SLi back on and both my gpus usage's were at 25-30% now...I dont get it. My fps didnt change though, still the same.

I think the fps is maxed out on your monitor, a 120hz monitor only allows a certain amount of fps before it can't display any more

there have been times in bf4 and theif that I would shoot straight down to 30-40fps, and would remain there for about 10 seconds or so and it will be back to normal. I still see strange FPS drops when I play bf4 and thief, but it hasnt hit that low yet, but I'll go into one area and i'll shoot down to 75fps. I'll go back to the same spot and I'll be at 100fps or over. Why is that? I just asssumed it was my CPU because I have tried all new hardware outand nothing has changed.

Maybe it has bad scaling but bf4 has pretty good dual gpu support

yea I see what you mean I just downloaded the game today and max settings its hiting above 280 on 1 7950 with me it may be that your running sli with the game try turn one card off and see how that goes

also check the temps on your cpu do you have anything overclocked or underclocked ?

if none off that helps what drivers do you have installed if their the beta drivers that may be why

sli didnt help. it made minimal difference. nothing to the point of 200fps and more consistently. I used to have my CPU overclocked to 4.2, not very much at all, but I got a few bsods and a few lock ups on the way to achieiving the 4.2(prime95 and just playing games to test out OC). I put it at stock now assuming it was the overclock, but it wasn't. no, i have the latest drivers and i did a clean reinstall. Could those BSODS and lockups damaged my cpu? Other than gaming, my computer runs fine.

i just played CS source on de aztec with like 10 people, and I was hitting above 250. i dont get it. like i said before, i have noticed in thief and bf4 the fps issue as well. but iuno. i give up now. im just gonna have to deal with it until I have more cash to buy a new comp
