As the title says.
The monitor is an Iiyama GB2488HSU-B1. I'm connecting it using a dual link DVI cable, however on my monitor's information panel it says I'm running at 60hz.
My graphics card is an AMD XFX R7950 Double Dissipation edition. To my knowledge, it supports dual link DVI. However, there seems to be no option to change the refresh rate of the monitor either via the system or the CCC (catalyst control center).
I'd try changing the connection method from DVI to DP (Display Port), however I can't find the appropriate input on the back of my computer. Alternatives for me to try are VGA (I've read that this is useless though) and HDMI (I've also read this doesn't support 144hz, but it could be wrong).
At any rate, does anyone know what the problem might be? Is it my graphics card? Do I need to download some sort of special software or edit my AMD's registry? I know with NVIDIA you have the option to force resolution/screen rate, but alas I am without the benevolence of NVIDIA's user-friendly drivers. Or is there something else that's painfully obvious that I haven't thought of which may make a difference?
Thanks in advance!
