When I turned on my PC (from sleep mode) I did not get any sort of signal to my monitor and I tried using a different cable but that didn't help.
My specs are
AMD FX4100 @4Ghz
PNY GTX 760 2GB
XFX PRO650W core edition PSU.
MSI 970A-G43 mobo.
and 2x 4GB Patriot Viper memory at 1600MHz.
As I said before I tried using a different cable but that didn't help and it's not the monitor because i'm using it right now, so i'm guessing the card may have broke (even though i'm using it for a couple of months).
Any help is much appreciated.

One thing you could try is removing all power from the machine (Switch off at the wall) then press and hold your Power button for about 30 seconds. Release, and try again with power restored. Next you could try resetting CMOS by removing the CMOS battery for 5 min.

No, thats didn't work.
But I also don't understand how a before perfectly fine GPU could just break all of a sudden.

remove the GPU and try booting without it and see if you get a display if your board have onboard video and do you hear windows startup sound ? if you do then your GPU is dead it may happen its an electronic item .
