Hi, I just bought the BenQ XL-2420Z monitor. It's 24" and is 144hz (spent a crazy amount of $ on it).
I am trying to get the settings to 144hz or 120, but in every setting I go to it says the max HZ is 60.
I am using a DVI DUAL LINK cable and running it on 1920x1080. My GPU is a GTX 650 Ti.

How did you go about changing the Hertz to 144 or 120? Did you try to change it from Nvidia Control Panel?

Yes I tried it in Nvidia customize setting but it shows "Incorrect cable. Please use the DVI dual-link cable that came with your monitor" which i am already using the same cable but still have a same problem and not go up-to 60hz... and monitor screen is flickering also.

Try an HDMI cable and see if that works.

OK I will try it... Thanks! but I like to confirm it that is a cable issue not a graphic card/drivers problem?

Im not sure, it could be the graphics card or just the DVI port since you said the monitor flickers, It could also be the monitor or its DVI port, it can also be just the DVI cable. So you have to try everything out to find the cause of the problem.
