smallest 7.2 multi-channel audio receiver

As it say on the tin.

I've done a bit of research and I've had trouble finding any good sites etc. can someone guide me to a good marketplace ;)

I don't know if it's the smallest, but the Cambridge Audio Azur 551R is smaller than most and you can get it in a few different countries (since you didn't specify).

As far as the .2 goes, just need a Y-cable.

Marantz NR series of recievers are
17-3/8" x 4-3/16" x 14-1/2"
which is pretty small. They have three models in this series. Excellent sound quality with 3 year warranty. Conservative power amp ratings with good stability into difficult speaker loads.

It's been a awhile since I looked at the NR line, back then they were only 5.1 for all models, good to know they have 7.1 now.

Though the CA Azur is just a bit smaller at 16.9" x 4.3" X 13.3", I would probably suggest going with the Marantz because of the room correction (Audyssey).
