Does anyone know if CoreBoost (both on intel/amd cpus) is limited to the TDP of the CPU, or if it exceeds it?

Also, the AMD APUs and Intel Intergraded Graphics need specific motherboards that support the iGPU or anyone should be fine?

Solution
Modern CPUs are designed to throttle at unruly voltages, but yah can't stop the dedicated :)

AMD APUs require an FM2+ MB and provide multiple video outs. Most Intel boards I'm aware of provide a combination of analog/digital video outs -- even the lower-end business class.

you need to read the description of the boaRDS. only then will you know what is supported...........

then you need to know what the cpu's support and what boards to use with what cpu.

intel and amd are different..............

if you are only using on board graphics/amd is the way to go.
