I believe its my motherboard but i'm not sure here's my issue:
1. computer reboots once it logs into a drive.
for example once it gets to the windows load screen, it reboots.
I've installed Ubuntu on a flash drive, once it gets to the purple screen, it reboots.
sometimes it log in windows but then it reboots.
2. I have removed all my hard drives, and the computer doesn't reboot. when I pluged in the Ubuntu flash drive(with no other drives), and i get to the first load screen, it reboots.
3. I have 2 types of ram installed, I tried only having one in at a time, it still reboots(also i switch the ram slots)..
4. when i initially see the purple screen for Ubuntu, there is just eough time to hit F12 which then allows me to run a mem test, it comes up,perfect 0 errors.
when i hit f12 for Ubuntu flash drive, i click try Ubuntu without installing, and my computer restarts.
5.basically it seems to reboot as soon as an OS is being logged into.
my computer was fine, 2 days ago, i then switched my case to an NZXT h440, everything worked fine. but after a week, when i was on the computer the issue began, and just rebooted while i was on it. it finally said something about my motherboard is reboot possibly because of overclock settings, but i never overclocked it, and i went into bios, and set it to the fail safe/ default settings, this still occurs
6. i found a new firmware for my motherboard GA-Z68A-D3H-B3, i updated it, reboots persist.

this may sound unlikely, but i had that problem before, i solved it bye unplugging the ethernet cable (stopped the reboot) then downloading malwarebytes anti rootkit on a latop then moving with usb and doing a scan then cleaning

thanks, I did try that, oddly enough, this started happening a few days after I did windows defender + malwarebytes full scan, so I thought I could be a virus, but this still happens when my only drive attached is a flash drive... I may be wrong, but I never knew virus' could hurt a motherboard

I'll try that as soon as I can, I bought a new HDD which will be coming in a week or so, and I can't overwrite my old ones, I need the info on it.

Any other things I can try in the meantime, since I won't be getting my new HDD/mono for a while. Btw, I narrowed it down to the motherboard, or CPU, all my other components are working fine.

I just checked the temps that my motherboard records, everything seems normal, I bought a new motherboard, and I paid for rush handling/shipping, so hopefully ill be able to determine the cause soon... I hope it's the motherboard, since that's a bit cheaper. But still, I'm taking suggestions, id prefer to use my current motherboard if it can be fixed.
