Can I Place my GPU in a Lower PCI-E Slot?

I am getting an ASUS GeForce GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II 3GB and I don't think that it will fit in the top PCI-E slot on my Asus Rampage 4 Formula. I think it might be blocked by the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Cpu Fan i am using.

It shouldn't be blocked by the Hyper 212, ATX boards have the CPU and expansion slots in the same spot and my 7850 fits fine in the top slot of my M4A79T with the Hyper 212+.

As for if you can use it in a different slot, consult your manual, thats all we're going to do anyway.
