gpu temps
hiya i have been having issues with dawn of war 2 judderring and skipping frames, its strange because the peformance test says im getting an average of 70+ fps but i can see the game skipping.

Anyway i checked my temps after doing 4 peformance tests in a row and my gpu maxed at 78 oc im concerned i have damaged my gpu from running skyrim with 2k graphics and texture mods, could this just be optimisation issues with dawn of war 2, could my gpu be faulty and could i solve this issue with a bigger case, my case is a bit small i have a gtx 760 windforce, only just fits in the case, thanks for reading

oh and to add when i was playing skyrim i was getting alot of ctd's which i attribute to the gpu overheating, im hoping it ctd's before any damage is done to the gpu

the thing that i worried has caused damage is when i was getting the ctd's i was going straight back into skyrim, i thought it was a load order issue i did not realsise the ctd's were due to my gpu overheating

GTX cards can get up to 80C before you need to worry, past that up to 90C is "safe" but still not recommend.

thanks for the reply yeh my gpu was overheating and crashing to desktop with modded skyrim, but i just got the pc i thought the crashes were a load order issue so i was going straight back into the game, could this of damaged my gpu, it has a failsafe to crash to desktop if it gets to hot but i was going straight back into the game after a crash.

dawn of war 2 starts stuttering at 78 c someone said it could be an airflow issue thanks
