so ive got a brand new pc build. the system specs should easily allow me to play most games out now at high settings and get well over 60fps. it currently only gives me about 39-40.

my system specs are:

AMD FX-4300
Main board MSI 970-g46 (MS-7693)
8 GB DDR3 ram in dual channel mode
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

If i missed any info or you need more info please dont hesitate to ask.

i am currently playing world of warcraft. i would think that i should be able to get 60 fps even on ultra settings. and i didnt think my screen resolution would affect how my pc performed. and i listed my specs in the original post. if there is a better way to post my specs please tell me of it. and yes my drivers are updated.

Hey,

World of Warcraft as most MMOs depend highly on your CPU. Unfortunately the FX-4300 you've got isn't particularly strong.

To be able to enjoy the game at higher FPS I would advise you to reduce some of the quality settings. The game allows you to tweak a lot of graphics settings so play with them a little to see what gives you the best quality/FPS ratio.
