Have the same CPU as the one in your build (a6 5400k). I can't wait to get an upgrade lol...

The A6 is fine for light gaming like Runescape, League of Legends, MC, etc.

Here's my recommendation:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz Quad-Core Processor ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A78M-HD+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard ($52.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG V1.0 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($36.90 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($56.99 @ Micro Center)
Case: Enermax OSTROG ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply:...

i would take WD over seagate anyday for reliability sake. Having more power than you need from the psu doesnt "go to waste", but it will likely last longer and have more robust components, especially when your getting it for $30 with free shipping....
If anything the cpu is on the weak side, it may feel sluggish. You can get a better cpu with a cheaper motherboard.

that will get you a faster cpu for general apps and 8gb ram for the same price.

Basically cheaper and slightly faster. You could also add a graphics card and upgrade the cpu to an Athlon if you wanted to turn it into an entry level gaming rig later on.

You could also go with a pentium, but I honestly don't know how good its igpu is for light gaming.

That is pretty good ^, I would replace the A6 with an A8 as the video card in that chip is quite a bit faster, and eventually every girl will want to play SIMS :) Will be another $40 for the A8 but over the life of the system you won't have to upgrade the video for basic gaming use.
