Why doesn't the HD 6750 work on my supermicro board?

The system doesn't even see the card at all, device manager doesn't find anything but when I replace it with an HD 5450 everything works fine. The card is not dead cause I tested it on other system and it works fine. I'm really curious on what could be the problem.

plug in the pcie power cable? psu make and model?

the hd 6750 doesn't have a pcie power port FWIW the board is an X8SIE-F

the PS is the stock 450w PS from the case manufacture RayGo S2 tower I'm not at home at the moment to get the exact model

Did you try uninstalling all drivers for the video card then re-installing?? driver compatibility could be the issue.

got it figured out. The card was bad.
