System Won't Power On! (Yikes!)

I am using an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard with an AMD FX8350, AMD Radeon R9 270x by Asus, 16GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport DIMMs, one SSD, 2 Hybrid disk drives, 5 fans, and a CD drive, all on a 750w power supply unit, which is more than enough. The system has only been built for about two months now, and almost everything works beautifully. All except what I can now assume is the motherboard. When I first built the system, whenever the system would idle for an extended period of time, it would freeze and I would be forced to reset the system. In the past month, this issue became gradually more frequent. In the past week, I am having trouble even starting the system. Pressing the power button and contacting the power switch nodes directly on the board will not turn it on, even though the motherboard power light is glowing green like it is running normally. I get no error lights or troubleshootable POST beeps, nothing. The system simply fails to even attempt to power on. My first attempt to remedy this issue was to ditch the cheap power supply unit I bought for this system and replace it with a rather expensive, trustworthy one. After much hassle, I got it to boot once, only to see my system shut down and die whilst doing nothing at all. Now I cannot power it up again. I have determined that the power supply is likely not the issue, so I cannot help but believe the problem lies with the motherboard itself. Is there any way I can check to make sure that it is the motherboard or even fix my problem? Can I have it repaired?

Sorry, no extra motherboard. I usually get absolutely no fan motion whatsoever, or if I do, it's for like half a second. I cleared the CMOS by removing its battery and tried working on one stick, but no luck. Could a bad CPU do this to me? Plus I really doubt I managed to buy two bad PSUs in a row.

I have two PSUs, one cheap Sentey one and a decent Corsair one, both perfectly capable of powering my system. Yet both have failed to power my system. I have no overclocks either. I have not experienced any overheating problems. I may try breadboarding my system soon because the problem is likely with the CPU or the motherboard. I only bring up the CPU because, if I remember correctly, when I put my system together it did not fit perfectly snug in to the socket (the socket does support my CPU, though). I had to jam into the socket a bit, which may not have been a good thing, but I figured if that was the problem, it would not have worked at all since I built it. This is very confusing!

I am breadboarding my system now with minimal peripherals (just mobo power and ATX cpu power, no graphics card) and still no luck. When I use my old power supply, it will kick on for half a second and die, and the new power supply will not start it at all. I cleaned up the cpu contacts and made sure they are all straight, so there should not be a problem there unless it is broken internally. I am awaiting a response from asus support, and I may have to rma the mobo. We will see
