XFX R9 270x DD smell

ever since I started overclocking, there was a decent smell. but now it went down. On idle there is a little more smell than on full load at 91 .C but I experienced no crashing. any suggestions I need to know if I should RMA and I only have 3 days left plz tell me if it's normal for such hot card

it smells like light chemical and is not strong

A capacitor is likely leaking.

Replace the thermal paste... if it still smells and gets hot, RMA it

PS if it was a capacitor the card would most likely not run at all.

Leaking is different than blown, If they leak the blow once the chemicals leak out to an amount where the capacitor can no longer handle the charge.

Possibly, but I reckon it would have died by now. He said he's been over-clocking it and it smelt even before that.
Ever had a card that stood up that long after leaking?

Yeah but it wasn't being loaded up ever, I had a card last for a few months while visibly leaking.
