Gtx 760 or radeon 7970

From looking at performance to price ratio you can pick up these cards for within $20 of each other. I am looking to play games such as war thunder on max settings.

What would be a good 600waat psu to use for under $100?

A lot of coolmax units have no protection.... Leading to blowupitis. Which is fatal for pc's.


I've heard about some coolmax PSUs being bad before but that was typically about their low end units. I was thinking their higher end PSUs which managed such high efficiency would have better protection. I'm not much of a PSU expert though.

Right then, like he says stick with the EVGA PSU.

coolmax is generally shit, also after going to the official 80 plus website, it is in fact carrying a fake 80 plus gold badge.

As that manufacturer has 0 gold certified units.
