Recovering files from busted floppy disk

I have an old floppy disk that is literally broken. It cracked in a PC drive a long time ago and was ripped apart. I'm wondering if I can recover files from the metal hub inside of it, which I still have.

Nope, sorry you can't. I guess its possible the big companies that recover data from hard drives might be able to do it, but those are expensive services and I'm not sure if they can do floppy disks.
