I guess I'm not wording it correctly into google to find what I'm looking for, but I'm trying to make sure the PSU I'm looking at will work with my motherboard.

I have a HP Pavilion with a NC892AA-ABA a6813wmotherboard. I'm looking at buying an EVGA 600 B PSU. Can anyone tell me how to make sure they're compatible?

This is the PSU I'm looking at

Thanks in advance

That price sure sounds nice. I'm upgrading to a Radeon HD 5870 video card, and need a new PSU to power it. The PSU calculator I used said 550w is the minimum I would need. However, I read online that PSUs degrade over time, and that a 600w won't always put out 600w. Would it be a better long term investment to go for a higher wattage? Even if 550 is all i need, wouldn't the 600w last me longer? I'm not the most literate when it comes to hardware. Thanks for your speedy replies.

It's enough power it has 45 amps on the 12v + rail and it's the same size as the one in your computer , you can't go any longer \ length because it will be too tight.
