GTX 780 FTW Situation

Hello good people,

I'm currently sitting with one GTX 780 FTW edition that nobody makes a full coverage block for and odds are its never going to happen. Do you think that adding a second FTW card in SLI would cause too much of a heat problem with the ACX coolers dumping the heat onto each other.

Also, I gave though to getting a universal VGA block, and then something like this
to cool the cards others components that are not covered by the universal block. Does anybody know if that would be a good idea? I'm not entire sure how effective that would be in cooling it. Or would I be okay with sticking to my ACX coolers dumping heat onto each other. My case is a Corsair C70 Vengeance with pretty good air flow, 4 intake fans and 3 exhaust fans.

Or would I be better trying to sell my 780 and start over with cards that I can get full coverage blocks for?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Edit: Forgot to mention my motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87 UD4H
