So right now in my system I have an Amd Phenom II x4 840. I don't have much to spend but I feel like its time for an upgrade, my price range could maybe extend to around $230. I will also need a new motherboard and was maybe thinking of going sli? I tend to play Battlefield 4, Dayz Standalone and Planetside 2

My full specs are of course the Amd Phenom II x4 840
Evga Gtx 660 sc
8gb Ram
Asus M4A87TD/Usb3 Mobo
700 watt Cooler Master Psu

Any suggestiosn would be much appreciated

Well it looks like you are gonna need a new motherboard because your current one doesn't support AM3+ CPU's. I would recommend an FX-8320 and the nicest AM3+ motherboard you can afford with it.
