So I got this computer a few days ago and recently I can hear a buzzing noise coming from it after a while of using it. If I press against the side of the computer where it is coming from it stops for a few seconds or permanently. What is it?

Solution
It could be any one of a number of things. Most common culprit for PC noises like buzzing/humming is a fan. You said if you pressed against the side where it comes from it stops. Is there a fan near to where you are pressing? This can be solved with a replacement fan of appropriate size. (usually 120mm or 80mm for most cases.

A second possible noise source is a hard drive. They are spinning generally at over 7000RPM and if the drive is not securely mounted or if there is any room for movement, the drive will vibrate along the case as it spins. This can be solved by tightening the screws holding the hard drive in place or purchasing a rubber grommet for your hard drive that will reduce vibration.
