I had a
P5G41T-M LX3
intel g41 chipset
2GB Ram ( atm will buy soon 8 GB)
Intel Pentium E5800 3.20 GHz

I was thinking about these~
1)GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC 2gb
2)Galaxy GTX 650 1gb

sorry im a newbie on this. . .

Solution

To be honest it is a 90% must in my opinion. To get either the 750Ti or 650 at least pay $60 for a Pentium anniversary. This is to prevent bottlenecking.

You might also need to change your case.

I am nearly in the same situation as you. I have GTX 650 Ti 1GB, using it with my old e7500 right how, with 2gb ram.

I am going to get G3258, cheapish board, new psu and case.

I recommend you to get at least G3258 now.

Checking.. Be careful when adding RAM to old lga 775.

I have 4GB lying around that I cant use it because of Front Side Bus of my CPU.

You should be fine then. But you have to upgrade to a better processor and an 8GB of rams.

I think I am a bit late, but can you list what are you going to buy including PSU model and case model?

Something like;

CPU:G3258
MoBo:Asus H81M-D
GPU:Asus DirectCUII GTX 750Ti
RAM:Team Vulcan 2x4GB 1600Mhz 9CL RAM
PSU:Seasonic S12II 520
Case:Zalman Z3 Plus

That way, we can say if everything is compatible or not. :)
