Does my CPU bottleneck my rig ??

i Have Pentium G3220
GPU HD 7770 Power COlor
RAM 4gb.
Res: 1366 x 768 pixels

I played Crysys 2 on ULTRA my GPU only 85% loaded (50 fps :heink: ) then i try VERy HIGH setting my GPU only 67% loaded (60 fps VSYNced
;) ). the problem is my CPU loaded 100% wathever the graphic seting i choose. does it mean my CPU bottlenecked ?

Yes you are technically bottlenecked by that CPU, meaning that the G3220 is holding the 7770 back a little bit.

However, I would not worry, since you would probably run into a bottleneck on the 7770 fairly quickly with a faster CPU. Remember the Crysis set of games are designed to be played on bleeding edge technology when they're released. There are games being released now that take up less resources.

Overall I would be pretty happy, yes the CPU is holding the GPU back a *little* bit - but you're getting some good fps numbers on a fairly well balanced budget build.

Sorry mate. Like the previous poster said it is mainly due to the game using more of the CPU. Mainly a CPU based game, as well as the graphics card. ;)

thanks all.. i upgrade my CPU to i3-4130 and now i can run all my game in ultra setting 720p

The i3 will bottleneck you if you want to get a nicer card. I would try to get an i5. Anything starting from the i3 and below is not worth upgrading to

its about money dude .. my graphic target only R7 265. i cant aford more .....
