I recentely purchased a Kingston SSD drive, a 60GB V300 one, to be exact, but I'm not really convinced about its performances.

Using Crystal Disk Mark I'm getting this values:

Are they ok? Is there anything I can do to boost the performances of my SSD, assuming that it is already plugged into a SATA3 port?

Solution
Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. The drive is actually performing slightly higher than it's specifications. Per our datasheet, Incompressible Data Transfer (AS-SSD and CrystalDiskMark) for 60GB is 150MB/s Read and 50MB/s Write. To see the 450MB/s or higher Compressible Data Transfer benchmark results change the Test Data under File in CrystalDiskMark to 0x00 Fill. Other things to make sure is that the SATA ports are in AHCI mode and that the partitions are aligned properly. If this is in a new build and you did a clean install of Windows then it should be set to go. For any further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you...
