Will my e6750 Dual Core bottleneck my 6790?

Test them by running a tough game. If your cpu gets to 100% usage (from Task Manger) before your graphics card (per Afterburner) then yes the cpu is bottlenecking the graphics card.

Yes it will, especially in CPU intensive games like BF series, or badly coded games. Your CPU is an oldy, OCing might lower the bottleneck but it'll definately not allow the card to work at its potential.

Given the tech is 4 years(approx) apart, you will have some bottlenecking from the e6750. To what degree? If the rig is up and running, pop the 6790 in and run some games and benches.
