Hi everyone

The only thing I can think of is getting an external hard drive and backing up all the files. Im tempted to do this because it's very easy to do. Im sure there is a better way of doing this, so i need help on this
Is there a better way of backing up important files other that using an external hard drive?

BTW they're laptops

Thanks for reading

How hard core do you want to get with your backup solutions?
Easiest and cheapest = Go buy an external drive with backup software loaded up. Make sure its got USB 3.0 or Lighting bolt if your on a mac.

Somewhat easy and not as cheap = Go buy and external Network Attached Storage drive and get software for it. This will be the easiest solution for multi laptops in one environment since all your laptops can see and write tot he network drive without having to be physically plugged in to it. Lacie is one of the bigger names that sill single drive NAS drives.

Somewhat easy, but likely more expensive = Online data backup. Carbonite is one of the main guys in this pool. You'll pay a yearly fee and back up your stuff to their servers. Downside being your limited by what interconnection you're on when you do it. Its also cloud storage, so look in to the security of that to see how you feel about it.
