Processor: FX-8350
Case: K281 (yes it will fit in case, there will be 3mm gap I suppose)
Mobo: 990FX Extreme 4
RAM: Corsair-Vengeance-DDR3-8GB http://www.amazon.in/Corsair-Vengeance-DDR3-8GB-CMZ8GX3...
Graphic Card: HD 7850 2GB

If everything is supported then I'll go for it. Is there any better cooler than 212X in the same/almost same price range?

Ambient temp (in summer): Min: 25C, Max: 42C.

The hyper evo 212x, has a really good review and rating. It has the best feedback i know of for any cooler at that price and works amazingly well. Stick with the Evo.

The 212x is not the same as the hyper 212 evo.

They both support dual fans and the hyper 212x has a better fan and has marginally more performance than the hyper 212 evo
They both come with brackets to have 2 fans
But 2 fans would just give a little performance increase

I think the side panel fan (jetflo 120) will not fit on side panel if I use 212X. So what I'll do is I'll take out the rear exhaust fan and will replace it with jetflo, and then use that exhaust fan on 212X as pull. Will this be good?

I just noticed, It looks identical but the Hyper Evo would add a slight boost, but not noticeable. What I7Baby said, Whatever you feel is needed.

Hyper Evo 212 and Hyper 212X are difference coolers. 212X is advance version of Evo.

OK. Will the RAM cause any issue with 212X?

It shouldn't but get one with a small heatsink to be safe.

Sorry I don't get you. Get what? RAM? I already have that RAM. The system is already built, it's not a new system. I just want to change the cooler to 212X.

My bad, Then yeah it will be fine. Check dimensions to be safe with the company's Specs before changing CPU cooler.

I checked the size but I didn't understand it correctly. Can you please help in checking? I have this cooler currently and it's not interfering with the RAM. http://www.deepcool.com/product/cpucooler/2013-12/7_210...

The jetflo fan is a beast, you think it's better to use high RPM/CFM fan on cooler than on exhaust?

Your ram is only 33mm high. You'll be fine

Thanks! Pardon my noobness but what if the RAM causes issue? We still have 3 slots where we can put it. Why's everyone so concerned about putting it on slot near to fan only?

I would use a CPU fan since it directly effects the CPU performance. measure inside the case around the cpu to see if this or larger is open. 120 x 79 x 158 mm / 4.7 x 3.1 x 6.2 inch

Thats the dimensions.

First number is the length from Left to Right.
Second is the height.
Third is the Depth. Front to Back.

Also your Temperatures are really low as they are and you might find you won't need a CPU fan.

Put the ram in the slots per your mobo manual.

It's nearest to CPU fan only I guess. Thanks for the replies. I think I'm good to go with 212X.

Which temperatures? I mentioned the ambient temperature, not the CPU temperature.

If the General Temps are below 70 I wouldn't say you needed extra cooling. and the ambient said 45 which is quite cold.

45C buddy not 45F. It's just opposite of quite cold.

Most components can take up to 90 C safely :)  so 45 while might feel hot, is a pc running cold in comparison to its highest safe temp.

AMD CPUs CANNOT be run safely at 90*C!! You must be thinking of Intel CPUs?
The max safe core temp for AMD FX CPUs is 62*C.!!

Also, he said that his AMBIENT temp was 45*C, not core temp. A room temp of 45*C.is uncomfortably warm to me, and will cause higher than typical CPU Core Temps.

You can't run any CPUs at 90C.

Dude kindly check this: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2291314/hyper-21...

I got the cooler but I don't know why it's not fitting, everyone said it will fit but it's not.
