I was wondering if anyone ever combined 2 pwm y splitter cable adapters together to make it a 3-way adapter. I'm upgrading my system and purchased the Asus Z97M-Plus m/b. Unfortunately the m/b only has 2 fan headers and 1 cpu header. I already have 4 y splitter cable adapters from noctua fans. I also have purchased the NZXT H440 case which will arrive in the next couple days. I plan on using 6 fans(3 on each fan header) for airflow in the case. I know that the h440 comes with the fan adapter, but I would like the m/b to control the fan speeds. Thanks for your helpful info in advance.
